Dear Colleagues in Ministry,

 I know that Easter hymns are still ringing in our ears, and that considering plans for the fall seems like a thing we would just as soon ignore. But I also know that consider them we must.

 As convener of the Healthy Congregation/Mediation Team for the presbytery, I would like to offer you a suggestion for your planning. Our Healthy Congregations Workshop is meant to assist churches (ruling elders, teaching elders, deacons and other involved members) look at how they work together and how they could communicate better and further the mission of the church with more purpose.

 Our workshop is scheduled to be 6 hours long including a meal break. The content includes video clips, case studies – and humor. There is time for small group reflection, large group learning, and plenty of time for questions and answers. The cost of our workshop depends on the size of the congregation just as the supply preaching compensation is based on congregational size.

 If you have a fall joint board meeting, this workshop might be just want you are looking for.
