Rye Presbyterian Church is looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to project an atmosphere of hospitality and welcome to all who interact with the church, to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, and to ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our church office.
Duties include greeting all visitors, answering the phone, providing support to our members, staff and leadership; managing the master calendar and coordinating church space usage; general administrative activities and maintaining filing systems.
The ideal candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Candidate must be friendly, flexible, organized, a team-player, attentive to details and have a willingness to learn.
Experience in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher); Constant Contact; ACS Church Management Software is preferred.
This is a part-time, 4 day/week position - 32 hours.
