A Covenant for Justice
The Presbytery of Hudson River has been in covenant with the Rural and Migrant Ministry for more than 25 years. We join with other communities of faith throughout New York State so that our strength may be multiplied on behalf of farmworkers.
In our covenant, we commit
to stand together with our prayers and our time and our talents, witnessing to our common humanity,
to share generously of our means and resources to improve the lives of those who tend God's life-giving gifts,
to walk together in the halls of power for honorable wages and working and living conditions for farmworkers and their families,
to encourage their children and young people to develop their gifts and potential, and
to welcome the many gifts these brothers and sisters have to give us.

"Justice may roll like a river, and righteousness like a never-failing stream."
- Amos 5:24
