Our community is a gathering of peoples from across the world. Immigrants make up 21% of the population in New York -- 37% in New York City, and 18% in the Downstate Suburbs. Fully one third (34%) of all children growing up in New York State are part of an immigrant family.
In Christ, we are one family. We are called to care for all God's children, whether from near or far. The resources in this section are provided to help us recognize and support the immigrants who bring their gifts into our communities.
