Kenda Creasy Dean joined us at the September 2010 Presbytery meeting -- challenging us with themes from her book Almost Christian: What the Faith of our Teenagers is Telling the American Church. Handouts from her talk are available below:
NEW-Vember -- our HRP educational and enrichment opportunity on November 8. 2008 -- featured the dynamic and thought-provoking Rodger Nishioka, Professor of Christian Education at Columbia Theological Seminary in Atlanta, GA. The Power Point from his talk, "Living, Dying, Rising," is available below.
The September, 2008 presbytery meeting will feature a presentation by Victoria Curtiss, a member of the Task Force on the Peace, Unity, and Purity of the Church. Vicki has compiled a booklet, available through the PCUSA entitled Guidelines for Communal Discernment. Reproduction of the booklet is permitted, and a pdf version is available here.
